Heidi Gile - A little about me

 

Looking back, I have to laugh because I didn't think I had a creative bone in my body.   

 

A cancer diagnosis brought me to an Art Therapy group, which in turn taught me that not only was I an artist, but that I had a passion for both art and life. 

 

Since then Photography has been an important form of expression for me, allowing me to express myself immediately and deliberatly.  Although my real passion lies in InfraRed photography. It's the surreal quality of the imagery that beckons to me, a haunting beauty, the echo of something that can't quite be remembered that tickles the edges of my subconscious.
